Sanku Mauts’ai

SANKU Mauts’ai — Hot Pot for One. Big on Story. Big on Taste.
We love a bit of DIY — especially when it comes to food :)

SANKU brought one of Asia’s most exciting dining trends to Berlin:
Chinese Hot Pot for One — a personal, playful and flavour-packed way to eat.

They already had a killer store concept.
Our role was to translate that energy into a digital world.
To help people discover SANKU, feel the vibe, taste the steam, and get ready for the launch of the new Friedrichshain location.

We took the strongest parts of SANKU’s in-store design. The bold yellow. The ingredient icons. The industrial surfaces. The mirror accents on the windows and the bright white neon lines running through the space. Then we brought them to life online.

A soft steam haze drifts through the layout to echo the theatre of hot pot bowls cooling in the open air. A playful yet minimal graphic system keeps everything instantly recognisable and unmistakably SANKU.

Capturing their signature vibe — up close

We spent a day in store shooting with the team, exploring their kaleidoscope of sauces, toppings, and textures.

Their whole food standard is tight, even when the cameras aren’t around, the ingredients are perfectly presented and prepared with love.

Big respect  to SANKU.
