Material Buffet is Leipzig’s first second-hand material collection, redefining how creative minds source their materials. This innovative initiative provides a diverse range of repurposed resources—from wood and bicycle tubes to theater props—sourced from local businesses, museums, and cultural institutions.

We had a great time meeting this material conscious and creative group, to put a fun visual identity behind their forward thinking concept. We built the Material Buffet’s visual identity, ensuring their mission was communicated with clarity but with a little fun. We developed a recognisable, strong and timeless logo mark, paired with a bold, very useable, but slightly irregular font to mirror their second hand but perfectly useable materials. And provided a library of hand made textures with a cool colour palette that their team was able to play with throughout their own brand developments. See how they adopted their visual identity
The team took the brand into their hands and have done a fantastic job to incorporate it into their whole concept experience.
